The best time for this safari is during the dry season (June–October) when wildlife viewing is optimal. However, the parks are beautiful year-round, especially lush and green during the wet season (November–May).
Pack light, neutral-colored clothing (khaki, beige), a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, comfortable walking shoes, binoculars, and a camera. A light jacket is useful for early morning or evening drives.
