These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between you (the client) and us for your safari adventure. Please read carefully, as they form the basis of your contract with us. Heavenly Wonders Safaris is committed to providing exceptional safari experiences while ensuring transparency and fairness in all our dealings.
By booking with Heavenly Wonders Safaris, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Welcome to Heavenly Wonders Safaris! These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between you (the client) and us for your safari adventure. Please read carefully, as they form the basis of your contract with us.
All bookings are confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us. This confirmation serves as the official contract between you and Heavenly Wonders Safaris, outlining the terms of your safari adventure.
Your booking and our contract are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any legal matters will be handled by the courts of Arusha, Tanzania. This ensures that all disputes are resolved according to Tanzanian law and regulations.
We reserve the right to accept or decline any booking at our discretion. This allows us to maintain quality standards and ensure compatibility with our safari operations.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. This deposit secures your place on the safari and covers initial administrative costs and resource allocation.
The remaining balance can be paid in cash or by card at least 14 days before your arrival. We only accept USD bills dated 2009 or later to ensure currency validity and prevent counterfeit issues.
Bookings made within four (4) weeks of departure require full payment immediately upon confirmation. This ensures adequate preparation time and resource allocation for your safari experience.
All bank transaction fees are your responsibility. The invoice amount must be received in full. Any shortfall due to bank deductions will be invoiced separately to ensure complete payment coverage.
Changes after confirmation (e.g., dates, accommodation, number of people) will be accommodated where possible. We understand that plans may change and strive to be flexible while maintaining operational efficiency.
Additional costs may apply depending on availability and the nature of the change. These costs reflect actual expenses incurred due to the amendments and ensure fair pricing for all parties involved.
All cancellations must be received in writing. Effective date is when we receive your written notice. This ensures clear communication and prevents misunderstandings regarding cancellation timelines.
Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while covering our operational costs. The earlier you cancel, the more refundable your payment becomes.
Please note that deposits are non-refundable as they cover initial administrative costs and resource allocation for your safari experience.
We reserve the right to cancel tours in exceptional circumstances beyond our control (e.g., unsafe conditions). This ensures the safety and well-being of all our guests.
Liability is limited to a full refund of monies paid. We are not responsible for additional costs incurred, such as flights or visas. This limitation reflects our commitment to fairness while acknowledging circumstances beyond our control.
You are solely responsible for ensuring valid passport, visas, vaccinations, and health certificates. Proper documentation is essential for smooth travel and entry into Tanzania.
We are not liable for denial of entry, delays, or costs resulting from improper documentation. This ensures that guests take responsibility for their travel preparations while we focus on providing exceptional safari experiences.
All baggage and personal belongings remain your responsibility throughout the safari. We recommend securing valuables and maintaining awareness of your possessions at all times.
Generally limited to one soft-sided bag (max 15kg) and a small daypack. Stricter limits apply on bush flights and trekking tours. Excess luggage may be refused to ensure safety and compliance with aviation regulations.
Safari activities involve higher personal risk than conventional holidays. Wildlife encounters, terrain challenges, and remote locations contribute to this increased risk profile.
Meijo Safaris and its employees shall not be liable for injury, loss of life, or property damage during the tour. This limitation ensures fair risk distribution while maintaining our commitment to safety.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the company from any claims arising from your participation. This agreement protects both parties while ensuring responsible travel behavior.
Decisions of our lead guide or tour driver are final regarding the operation of the safari. This ensures efficient decision-making and maintains group safety throughout the adventure.
Guests must comply with laws and regulations of visited countries. This requirement ensures respectful and responsible travel behavior while protecting local communities and wildlife.
By participating, you agree that photos or videos taken during the tour may be used for promotional purposes. This consent helps us showcase our safari experiences to future guests.
Private safaris will have no images used without consent. We respect the privacy preferences of guests on exclusive safari experiences.
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: war, riots, terrorism, natural disasters, adverse weather, or park closures.
Prices are based on current park fees, taxes, and fuel costs. These factors influence our pricing structure and ensure accurate cost reflection.
Minor fluctuations are absorbed, but significant unforeseen increases may require price adjustments even after booking. This policy ensures fair pricing while accommodating unexpected cost changes.
Domestic flights are booked on your behalf via partner airlines. We facilitate these bookings as a service to our guests while maintaining clear responsibility boundaries.
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions. These issues fall under the airline's responsibility and operational control.
The contract for air travel is between you and the airline; we only assist with communication. This ensures clear understanding of responsibility and service provider relationships.
Any problems during the trip should be reported immediately to your guide or our local office. Prompt reporting allows for immediate resolution and prevents escalation.
Issues not raised during the tour may not be eligible for resolution afterward. This policy ensures fair treatment while maintaining operational efficiency.
Formal complaints must be submitted in writing with supporting evidence (e.g., photos, details of concessions). Written documentation ensures proper investigation and fair resolution processes.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory. Policies must cover emergency medical & evacuation, trip cancellation & interruption, and loss or damage to personal belongings.
High-limit coverage for medical emergencies and evacuation during your safari adventure.
Reimbursement for non-refundable costs if the trip is canceled or cut short unexpectedly.
Protection for personal belongings, luggage, and safari equipment during your adventure.
Proof of insurance may be requested before departure. This ensures compliance with our safety requirements and protects all parties involved.
