The best time for this safari is during the dry season from June to October when wildlife viewing is optimal. For the Great Migration, July to October is the best time. Zanzibar is beautiful year-round, with the dry season being from June to October and December to March.
Pack light, neutral-colored clothing (khaki, beige), a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, comfortable walking shoes, binoculars, and a camera. For Zanzibar, bring swimwear and light clothing. A light jacket is recommended for early morning and evening game drives. For luxury accommodations, bring elegant evening wear for dining experiences.
